Big deal. It's coffee filters... not exactly an extremely difficult thing to work with.
Anywho... it's still a cute dress.... she just looks SO thrilled in it o_O

That's pretty neat! And if LisaL thinks its no big deal, I'd like to see she make one ;)

Nice "I'm a little teapot" pose.

Neat! I was too much of a rebel to attend my own prom (or more likely too shy to ask anyone, and opted for cynical detachment instead :D ) but I probably would've gone with her. Sure, people have made dresses out of unusual things before, but being different in that sort of an environment is rather rare.

The best thing after she uses the dress is she can make a ton of coffee afterwards. :)

Martha Stewart already did it, a few years back for cheap halloween costume ideas.

She looks cute, coffee filter dress for a photo shoot is fine.. but for Prom, bothers me a bit!!
She's gonna be one hell of a fashion designer though!! :)

When I say big deal, I mean that coffee filters are probably easy to work with when it comes to off the wall items to use to make a dress.
They're already cut for you, they're not exactly fragile, etc etc.
I'd be more impressed if she had done it with a more difficult material.
As I said though... it is a cute dress nonetheless.

I prefer Michael Knight's coffee filter dress from season 3 of Project Runway.
