Japanese Men in Underwear Run Around with Giant Computer Screen Cursor

I’m not really sure how to describe this website, but it is maddeningly addictive.  Click the link and then move your mouse around. There’s automatic sound, so you may want to turn your speakers down a bit.

Maybe some Japanese-speaking Neatorama user can translate for us. Assuming that they’re speaking Japanese.

    "Oshoi" is just a word repeated for encouragement of sorts. Like "heave ho."
    "Mai" is front, "hidari" is left, "migi" is right, "oshiro" is backwards, "gyaku" is diagonal, usually backwards, and I cna't make out what they're saying when they lift the thing.

    Yes its Japanese
    Washoi = word used by men carrying shrines (Omikoshi) at festivals.

    Ikuzo = let's go! (if you move the mouse quickly)
    They say gyaku literally 'opposite' when your mouse slows down
    Mae = forwards
    Ushiro = back
    Naname = diagonal

    When you click they might be saying yoisho which old men say when standing up.

    This was cute for sure, but I don't know about maddeningly addictive. :P Once you go in each direction and click, there's not much else to do, unless I'm missing something!

    yep, was here about three years ago if i remember correctly. maybe two and a half, i was working for westinghouse at the time, that was late 06/early 07
