Munish Bansal is a proud father of two, with a bit of a photography obsession: he has photographed his children every day for 13 years (so far)!

Accountant Munish, 36, from Gillingham, Kent, said: ‘It started when I took a picture of Suman on the day she was born.

‘I did the same the following day, and the day after, and the day after that. Before I knew it, she had turned one and I had 365 images.

‘It seemed a shame to stop, so I kept going – and did the same when Jay came along. Now I’ve got thousands and thousands of pictures of my two beautiful kids in each and every stage of their lives.’

My daughter was born last November on a Tuesday, and we take a headshot every Tuesday. Figured once a week would be enough. Some day I will get some kind of photomorph software and do something neat with it. She just turned 6 months old the other day.

Pretty awesome, though the first day he forgets, he’s going to commit the biggest facepalm of his life.

(By the way, you do something “every day,” not “everyday.” “Everyday” means “ordinary.”)

My husband has taken at least one picture of our kids (now 9 and 6) every day of their lives since birth and posted them to the web. They are not this type of straight on mugshot type photos but a documentation of their lives. Not only does it show their growth and change over the years but it also shows my husband’s growth as a photographer. What started out as snapshots have progressed into something more. He is now a successful professional photographer and my kids love to look back at their lives.

every day i think about the nonchalant everyday misuse of the term, “everday.”

    Getting stale.
I guess that’s an easy way to avoid changing them.

“But, honey, I’m busy taking their pictures!”

Thanks Wesley! I must’ve slept through the day the difference between “everyday” and “every day” was explained. ;)

I liked this the first couple of times I saw it, but now it’s just getting old.. I’m tired of looking at people grow over time (though it does explain how that guy went from hot to whatthehellisthat?! in just a few years).
