Yeah, I have to second the trials comment. It’s called urban trials riding and has been around exponentially longer than parkour and is a hell of a lot harder.

Actually, Parkour is a relatively new sport when compared to bicycle trials riding. So to call this Parkour on wheels is like describing surfing as “snowboarding, but on the beach”.

What kind of tires are those? To take that kind of pounding without blowing has to be something non-traditional. If that was a usual bike, it’d have a seat, and he’d be popping more than tires.

I actually wrote a post about this very question today on my blog (linked above)! It gets more “old school” than you might think and it gives props to Neatorama for being not just a fun site, but a fun comunity as well.
