    he wasn't peeing, he was tracing out the decline in George W. Bush's popularity over the past eight years. little blips that went up, but an overall eight-year-long decline. kind of like the economy of the whole damned world.

    Smaller dogs tend to do that, albeit not to that extent. It is in effort to mark their territory higher up, thereby giving other dogs the impression that the territory belongs to that of a larger dog. My beagle does it.
