Ski Jump Toilet

Imagine taking a seat in this toilet stall!

Georgia Max Coffee chose to redesign the toilets of a number of key ski resorts in Japan. The cubicles were fully wrapped on all sides, so that the person caught short would have a ski jumper’s view when they were sitting on the loo. The person could look down at their skis (simply printed on the floor of the cubicle) and see the steep ski jump slope ahead of them.

My brothers and I, being obnoxious, would sit down and take photos of the bathroom stalls where ever we were and send to each other – It made sense when we were teens. This one might have thrown them for a loop.

@andiscandis: A natural laxative indeed! Suffering from vertigo, I think I’d s**t my pants. Or that toilet, of course.

@Gauldar: You might have a point there. Bat at least there’s no people watching…

A shame really that this only works in a picture. Perception in RL unfortunately wouldn’t be as it looks from this photo. Still very nice though!

Yeah – but just knowing it’s in Japan would make me terrified that once I sit down, the walls would fall away and suddenly I’d be riding down the a real ski lift – and on a prank tv show.

This looks realy cool and made me chuckle, I am currently researching toilet cubicles design for a toilet cubicles manufacturer.
Take a look at some of the digital print options i have designed so far. They have been very popular with cubicles in schools. Any ideas would be very greatful!
