   If it had better accesibility, it would be fantastic for elderly people who needs help to take baths.
   And it also can be a good water saver, generally speaking (I know some people who spend about 45 min. in the shower everyday!).

   Wouldn't be surprised if this isn't rehashed soon, sounds like a cool concept, especially for those who don't have access to bathroom facilities.

   I'd imagine that the amount of room it takes up can be greatly reduced with current technology. I mean, the size of that basin the woman is sitting in is not feasible for the amount of living space in most Japanese homes... unless there’s a toilet included in that device too.
