Really, really, ridiculously small micro-grabbers

Biotech researchers at U. Texas and Johns Hopkins have developed inexpensive wireless "micro-grabber" machines so small they can zoom around inside your capillaries and grab a living cell (see video here).  They can be manipulated using a bar magnet above the skin, so no invasive surgery required.  The technology still needs to be refined, but holds great promise.
