Invisibilia - When Photographs and Drawings Collide

Posted by Stacy in Blog & Internet, Pictures on January 24, 2009 at 10:31 am

This is a really simple idea, but the effect is really interesting. The artist has just taken pictures – some are his personal pictures and some have been found on the Internet – and replaced a real person with a drawing. He also gives a tutorial on how to create your own, if you’re interested.

the most intersting aspect of the show...Tom Goes to the Mayor is how the characters were rendered...aside from that, there really wasn't much else i could enjoy about it...

Someone will come along and build on this man's work. It is not stellar in, and of, itself, but there is the beginning of something grand.

They should still be interesting pictures. He almost had moments with some of them, but mostly crap.
