A diner around my house has been selling these since I was a little kid (25 years ago)! They were always awesome because there’s a giant mound of icing AND a bonus half-cookie!

You used to be able to get those at any local Shop Rite along with Elmo cupcakes and Oscar cupcakes (complete with an Oreo cookie as the garbage can lid).

I am a regular reader of neatorama– this is my first post… I just wanted to share this birthday cake I made for my sister a couple years ago. It’s a Betty Crocker Bake & Fill. It’s a giant round brownie, lined with cookie dough, filled with chocolate ganache… shaped like cookie monster. It is my finest dessert accomplishment. Hope I am allowed to submit links!

I second what Steve Murphy said…I remember getting these when I was a little kid at a nearby diner…also Big Bird cupcakes. The mound of icing + sprinkles = amazing cupcake!
