Robert Connett's Artwork

AFS-1 by Robert Steven Connett

I can’t believe it took me this long to find the wonderful artwork of self-taught California artist Robert Connett. His surreal paintings are like a lot like H.R. Geiger’s if he had a dollop of humor.

I am a big fan of his work and it's great to see that he is getting more and more exposure. I believe that his work will only keep increasing in value, so whoever can afford it now is smart to invest in it! Wish I could! But since I can't, I love to sit up at night and stare longingly at his website (www.rsconnett.com). Besides that...he's CUTE!

Robert Connett is def. my favorite artist that is still alive. It's fun to watch the evolution of his work; he terribly refined himself, and his ideas are much more novel and interesting than before, when he painted mostly to express his angst and anger.

    Congrats to Connett!!!

I own 4 originals by Connett: "Nun", "Priest", "Blue Fish III" and the spectacular "Stray Thoughts" that was used by Les Claypool for the cover of his side project away from Primus called "Sausage" (album is "Riddles Are Abound Tonight").

Nice to see recognition for this guy finally reaching the level it deserves.

Wow...these are right up my alley! I may have to share them with my blog readers (and give you credit, of course).
