Monarchs and their Royal Residences

Posted by Miss Cellania in Pictures, Travel & Places on January 5, 2009 at 12:33 pm

Those born in the New World may not realize how many monarchies still exist. This list has 28 kings, queens, sultans, and princes across Europe, Africa, Asia, and the Middle East and their official residences. Pictured is Tashichoedzong Palace, the residence of Jigme Khesar Namgyel Wangchuk, the king of Bhutan, who is the youngest monarch in the world at age 28 (and he’s single). Wish the descendants of those kings live in their palaces.. Half of the palaces in and around India have been overtaken by the nasty government in so called "Heritage Site" kinda move.. Why the heck don't they give it back to the heirs..
