Military Truisms

Neatorama reader SparkS put together a great post in the Forum: a fun list of humorous military truisms. It includes such gems as:

"If the enemy is in range, so are you." Infantry Journal

"Aim towards the enemy." Instructions printed on U.S. Rocket Launcher

"When the pin is pulled, Mr. Grenade is not our friend." U.S. Marine Corps

"Cluster bombing from B-52s is very, very accurate. The bombs are guaranteed always to hit the ground." USAF Ammo Troop

"Try to look unimportant; they may be low on ammo." Infantry Journal

Alex, Alex, Alex - I wasn't done yet. Now I am in a quandary. Do I post the rest of them here or on the forum? Choices, choices.

I almost fell off my chair when I saw this. It wasn't on your newsletter. Thank you very much kind sir.

There's one final bunch that I just sent to the forum.

Wait til I post my airplane pilots humor.
You think the military has a strange sense of humor. GGG

    (love the pic!)

    I like this one.
The propeller is just a big fan in the front of the plane to keep the pilot cool.
Want proof? Make it stop; then watch the pilot break out into a sweat.
