15 Teeny Tiny Animals

Posted by Jill Harness in Animal, Pictures on December 18, 2008 at 3:38 am

Why is it that cute things only get cuter as they get smaller? Whatever the reason, WebUrbanist has the ultimate list of cute animals, as it has the 15 smallest animals. Some of the animals are just tiny species and others are miniture individuals of their type, like the mini mini horse above. Let the cute wash over you like a tidal wave of flower petals and rainbows.

My only thought is how good a tiny horse like that would probably taste.

Dwarf horses are now been bred as guild horses, and are more efficient then seeing eye dogs in various ways. They can't spend most of their time in doors though, they need a good amount of fresh air or they start developing respiration problems.

Fun Fact. The horses as we know them today are gigantic when compared to their ancestors. The ones around today were breed during the middle ages for mounted knights.

    the more you know.

It's my understanding that small things are perceived as cute so they engender protective impulses rather than aggression or ambivalence. Babies can't fend for or protect themselves, so they gotta work the angles to survive.

I don't really like seeing that tiny horse ever since I read something about how it was actually a miniature miniature horse... Genetic mutation x 2.
