   For years this was my Christmas Eve ritual, I would make my friends watch the VHS copy with me. My kids now love it!

    I remember this. I was so entertained by all the people on the show who were famous and those who have gone on to become famous. Like Lawrence Fishburne, William Marshall, S. Epatha Merkerson. and the Del Rubio sisters were just great.

    And the flowers I believe were based on Weed of Bill and Ben the Flowerpot Men from BBC telly.

    i watched this special sooooo many times when i was a kid... it never gets old. i probably appreciate it more now, even. too bad peewee turned into such a creeper later on. oh well... he will always live in this christmas special form in my memory.

    Paul Reubens might have had some "quirks", but Pee Wee was always a genius! Never seen the Christmas Special, but now I simply MUST find it.

    Paul Reubens had to be a bit 'off' to be Pee-Wee in the fitst place. If anything, the masturbation thing made him seem more 'normal'. I'm sure he's not the only male to 'enjoy himeself' in a porno theater. I've never been to one myself, but isn't that what they are for? I can't imagine going to a big screen theater and just watching porn like it was a movie. I mean, doesn't porn have a specific purpose? Not to 'beat around the bush' or anything. (lol)

    I do not know of any Marine who would EVER dance with Pee Wee.

    I didn't even think they could move that much in their uniforms? I know my husband can only raise his arms chest high when in blues, haha!

    I remember watching Pee Wee with my younger sister, and laughing my head off while my mother shook her head and rolled her eyes! I have to say that Pee Wee lit up my Saturdays - one reason to get up, anyway!

    Not a bad Christmas special - he was ahead of his time!

    Having seen Marines march etc at various Tattoo's I was surprised they were so out of co-ordination....makes sense if they aren't real Marines.
