My dogs don't have overly creative names, alas. Dixie and Rufus. But it suits them. I think my next dog is going to have an outrageous sort of name though.

If I had a dog i would name him Aldo or Nedo. You may know but Aldo Nadi and Nedo Nadi are famous fencers. Dead, but famous.

I'm thinking of getting a cat and naming it either Reginald or Django (in memory of Django Reinhardt).

I had a spastic cat that liked to tear through the house, so I named her Audrey Rugburn.

@Johnny - Now THAT is funny! We have one beast who showed up on our deck one snowy winter and we had no intentions of keeping him. We had 2 cats in a rented townhouse already, but he somehow gained permanent residence - and has always kept his temporary name. III.
