Santa got me the wool gloves last year, and I can attest they work pretty well. Now I just even MORE usb ports.

I could really use these at work... especially the slippers! Mmm toasty.

I used to have a heated mouse and it was pretty great but eventually it started causing "unrecognizable device" errors and it made me rethink whether or not it was really a good idea to plug a very cheaply made device with a relatively high power draw into a computer which contains priceless data (and pricey components).

I want the monkey hand warms, fashionable and functional!

its never a good idea to plug something that draws more than 500mA directly into a USB port on the board. If you are going to use one of these, use a powered USB hub between the device and your PC.

The wool gloves aren't bad, but I'd go for a cup warmer myself.

I've got a pair of the gloves myself and despite any odd stares they may win me, they are incredibly delightful. They really stave off that miserable stiffness that makes it so hard to type when your fingers are too cold. Now I just need the slippers to go along with them!

I would rather have a cooling keyboard. Because unfortunately I have the tendency to sweat when I'm typing away at a crazy pace. Now that I would buy.

Actually Ali S, that keyboard comes with a cooling feature as well.

Thank you all for your comments!
