Photos from LIFE

By Miss Cellania in Pictures on Nov 19, 2008 at 6:03 am

Search millions of photographs from the LIFE photo archive, stretching from the 1750s to today. Most were never published and are now available for the first time through the joint work of LIFE and Google.

I don’t know about 1750, since photography began around 1826, but the LIFE archives are an amazing resource. Link -via YesButNoButYes

I love Life photographers, I’ve secretly always wanted to work for them but I’m not a very good photographer. these are amazing and I agree with rocky rook, great find!

Nice of them to provide these. As if I didn’t already spend enough time roaming around on shorpy.com, now you infect my brain with more historical photographs.
