Juliet Doyle took some interesting photos of boatsheds in the island of Lindisfarne (or the Holy Island), England. The sheds are made from upturned fishing boats and used for storage by the island's fishermen.

It gets very blowy up there, too. I guess the sheds stay on the ground better for being that shape, too.

Hey, we've got something vaguely similar in Pine Valley, UT. It's a church built by skilled shipbuilders. The attic's rafters are built like the supports in the bottom of a ship.
