Creepy Baby Laugh-A-Lot Makes Little Children Cry-A-Lot

Here’s one from the archives of toys-that-never-made-it-big. Can you see why Baby Laugh-A-Lot from Remco isn’t a big seller?

I think I’ve heard that laugh in some horror movie somewhere … Link (embedded YouTube)

I hate dolls anyway, but that one is particularly disturbing.

Oh I have one of them, it was a gift from a pal. The laugh isn't so bad, but her face is a sorta twisted grimace and creepy on her own.

That's not a horrible laugh. I loved the rubbernecking, Linda-Blairesque, whiplash-inducing head turns on the girls, though.

I remember this doll and seeing the commercials.
If I remember correctly it ran about fall of 1970, it may have ran during an episode of the Partridge Family.
My sisters were creeped out by it. Also the voiceover
of this commercial is none other than, at the time voiceover actor and American Top 40 host - Casey Casem -
If you listen closely you could here his "Scooby Doo" character. You heard it here first.

Actually is sounds like Casey Kasem's "Shaggy" character from Scooby-Doo at the end, but it is Casey Kasem.

Lol, in the video the laugh sounds not too bad, but in this video (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=RNeJVSiluDE) it's extrememly different and twice as scary!
