If Hollywood Directors Made Campaign Ads...

While campaign ads can occasionally be visceral and exciting, more often than not they fall into the same, monotonous categories. Have you ever wondered what campaign ads would be like if they were directed by critically-acclaimed directors?

The folks at LandlineTV have taken that question and answered it in their latest video. They speculate on what McCain ads would be like if they were done in the styles of John Woo, Kevin Smith, and Wes Anderson. And while the John Woo video is a bit hokey, I think the Smith and Anderson ones are spot on. See what you think, and let me know in the comments below.

    Ooo Yes the Smith and Anderson ones are best. The colours in the Anderson are perfect: I love the smoking penguin woman.

    The Wes Anderson one was the best, but unfortunately it's the best of a bunch of not funny.

    Good job!
    Funny that before even reading the description of the video, you can just tell from the preview image that they're doing a parody of Wes Anderson.
