Font Art

By Miss Cellania in Art on Oct 6, 2008 at 10:53 am

Iconic celebrities rendered in typeface, using whatever font will work. Folha de S. Paulo newspaper in Brazil used these images to advertise the movie posters they included in Sunday editions. Brilliant! See Marilyn Monroe, Charlie Chaplin, and James Dean as well. Link -Thanks, Tal Siach!

Font drawings are way old news.

And that’s supposed to be James Dean, Miss C. It does look a little like Brando. That font guy could join NAMBLY – The National Association of Marlon Brando Lookalikes.

This IS Brando. James Dean is the third one in the linked article. The one with curly hair.

Apparently, if you live in São Paulo you should be able to read English better than Português.

It is Brando? Well, I’m not the only one who thought he was James Dean, obviously, lol.
He’ll always be an old, fat guy to me, anyways, and not Stanley whatisname – (“Stellaaaaaah”).
