Agree with Emp. Tomato Catsup....I live in South Texas and I've seen these things since I was a kid. They arent all that uncommon. We had a few get in the house & mom called them "glass snakes"

This species was already "discovered" and the natives knew about it for a long time. We have to stop claiming that as soon as a western scientist reaches a jungle that he or she is the first person see a species. it's taken nearly 500 years for people to finally start believing that Columbus didn't discover America.

i think thread snake can found anywhere in this world. infact i have one here and i found it only in our dirty kitchen. - general santos city,philippines.
