Do You Recognize This Face?

Posted by Miss Cellania in Pictures on August 28, 2008 at 11:39 pm

If you don’t, it’s OK, because this face does not exist. It’s an age-enhanced childhood picture showing what Michael Jackson would look like now if he’d never had cosmetic surgery or other physical alterations. The picture was made to accompany a Daily Mail article on Jackson as he turns 50 years old today. Link -via mental_floss

Yes, I did guess that before seeing the name, and obviously he looks better that way. Shame.

The hair is still died black in this illustration.

A more realistic photo would have him naturally gray.

Also, if he is in fact affected with a skin condition that de-pigments - he would still have the same coloring as he does now. That is something no one can control when it happens!

@PR New York: Actually, the condition he allegedly has only depigments in splotches. The whole deal is that he bleaches the rest of his skin to match the splotches.

His head is uncomfortably small for his face. I mean, his eyes are too high. The proportions freak me out.

Ty is right, he looks like some kind of ugly Manga draw by an alcoholic… at least it’s better than it’s actual face ! :O

What a shame he didn’t stop with the modifications when he was still black…

It does look like they figured in the strange skin pigmentation..just not to the extreme we’re used to. Pretty neat..I’ve always been interested in historical/scientific recreations of historical faces who lived when there were no cameras around. The fact that MJ can be thrown in with the pack says something about his strange existence.

and if the picture is accurate, it shows what a good looking fella he could have been.

there used to be a ot of black folks in Hackney who had the depigmentation disorder, but it was usually fixed by either cosmetics or tattooing.

He looks kind of like Johnny Mathis there.

    NOT Michael Jackson. It’s McBama.

They depicted him “smiling” and happy in the rendering. (instead of slack faced which would be easier to work with). As if to say that he would be a happier guy (as in his young images) if he hadn’t morphed himself.

I wouldn’t be surprised if the artist used Tito and the other brothers as references.

I could never really understand why his plastic surgeons went so far. I suppose the obvious answer is money but I think at some point, extreme plastic surgery must violate the hippocratic oath.

He should have sought therapy instead of surgery

I read an interview with a plastic surgeon that tracked MJ’s surgeries as a hobby, keeping every photo of him he could find. While MJ claimed that he’d had something like four surgeries, the surgeon said it was more like 40, and that he could show pictures showing at least 30 distinct changes. My numbers may be slightly off, this was about five years ago.

Wow. Wait, he’d look like a black George Clooney? Damn he’s sexy. If I was a little kid, I would WANT to be molested by him.

It kinda looks like a Nipsey Russell wanna-be. And who wouldn’t want to be Nipsey Russel?!

Thomas you give me the most creepy idea. That plastic surgeon should have those photos turned into a flipbook. Watch MJ age AND deteriorate in front of your eyes.

aging isn’t an issue with that flipbook.

The older he gets, the weirder he looks. Facelifts for wrinkles will alter him every other year.
