By Alex in Home & Garden on Aug 22, 2008 at 2:14 pm

A really big congratulations to Miss Cellania, who just bought a house! US housing crisis be damned – that’s a really sweet dig, Miss C!

Also, Miss C is celebrating her 3rd Blogiversary. Go and say hello! Link

A lovely Queen Anne victorian. Looks like it still has its original windows, too.

Looks pretty sweet. Oversized lot, perhaps an acre? Wraparound porch, awesome. Congrats to Miss C!

Oh no, I’m getting a small lot, much smaller than my previous house, but the neighborhood is wonderful and the kids can walk to school and pretty much anywhere else in town. It was built in 1905. I have the newspaper clippings to prove it!

Diggin’ that wrap-around porch. Should make for great parties!

    ‘grats Miss C!

The central chimney is an interesting feature as well.

Any plans to add a webcam or family blog terminal?

Cute. It’s getting around to be a buyers’ market too. Congratulations! I’d help move but, you know, hard to lift things through the internet.

Beautiful house, Miss C! Wraparound porches are sooooo nice, especially during the summer. Put a few glider benches out there, brew yourself a tall pitcher of iced tea, and line up a few months’ worth of good novels. That’s some REAL Southern Comfort! ;-)
