The Olympics in Lego

The Hong Kong LEGO Users Group created this miniature version of the Olympics in Beijing in less than 100 hours. In this picture, you can see the National Aquatics Center. Other photos show the Olympic Stadium (also known as the Birds Nest), Olympic Park, and other venues. Link -via Digg

I think it's a cool but crazy idea to build such things with LEGO. It may use a lot of time, but in my opinion, it's a great hobby and you can even relax while building a LEGO city, or whatever. There could be only one problem if you don't have enough LEGO bricks. ;)

This miniature version of the Olympics in Beijing 2008 looks great. Would love to see more of such LEGO miniatures.
