Merit Badges for Real-World Skills

The Boy Scout Store has merit badges available for purchase for accomplishments that aren’t spelled out in the Boy Scout Manual. Show off your accomplishments in the fields of drinking, cat herding, belching, and going bald! Link -via Everlasting Blort

How about a merit badge for real world problems like how to balance a checkbook, keep a marriage together when down to the last dollar, and how to raise nice, caring kids.

hi Miss C - I guess it was the word "skill" that I was concerned with - lighting a fire in the woods with no match deserves a merit badge. typing out your ego onto a blog does not. no skills needed there.
