Digital Mini Rolleiflex Camera

Posted by Alex in Gadget on July 22, 2008 at 8:37 pm

Ooh, my father has an old Rolleiflex camera and I distinctively remember looking down the viewfinder to snap my very first photo. Now, the Rollei has been updated (and miniaturized) into this: a 5-megapixel Rolleiflex Mini Digital Camera.

Link | UrbanOutfitters has it for $400

I wonder what happened to Pa’s old camera?

Wow, $400 and it takes photos like a cheap cellphone. 'Neat'

The Rollei ancestors are rolling over in their graves.

Oof, yeah those examples aren't great. I had put this on a wishlist a while ago.

Its overpriced for what it is, a small sensored cheap digital point and shoot. IF they actually made a real TLR with manual controls, a good lens, and a good sensor, I would seriously consider buying it.

I just got my mother's old Rollei 35SE from the 80's running again. Should have known that Urban Outfitters would flood the market with Rolleis and make me look like like I was following a trend.
First they started carrying my beloved suede bucks, then Haruki Murakami's books, and now this.
