The world famous Cyclone roller coaster opened 81 years ago today at Coney Island in New York. Today’s Lunchtime Quiz at mental_floss will find out how much you know about Coney Island and its history. I scored 58%, better than the average, probably because I’d done some research for an article on Coney Island a couple months ago. Link

You did better than me, Miss C. I only got 42% Still better than average at the time I took it, though.

And I got lucky on a few questions. I’m a huge Woody Allen fan, so that question was easy. Also, I’m a Mets fan, and I watch their channel all the time, which always airs commercials for the Brooklyn minor league team, who play at coney.
