Tupac Shakur’s Eatery at the Food Court

By Alex in Food & Drink, Music, Pictures on Jun 15, 2008 at 12:36 am

Rapper Tupac Shakur sure stays busy even after his death. Besides releasing six posthumous albums (with 8 top 10 billboard singles), apparently the prolific rap star also managed to open this eatery, spotted by Neatorama reader Wenny in an Indonesian mall’s food court! (Kaki kambing, by the way, means "goat’s foot," a local delicacy) – Thanks Wenny!

My guess is Indonesia. I just get a vibe from this photo that reminds me of an Indonesian mall’s food court.

It’s Indonesian – I actually visited the food court a year back or so. if my memory serves me correctly it’s located just outside Jakarta. I remember snapping a pic with my phonecam but I wasn’t a Neatorama reader yet!

Just wondering (on this humid rainy night) how much meat would there be on a goat’s foot? Is that something like our chicken wings where you have to buy a “slew” of them to make a good meal? Do they come with any type of sauce? Celery sticks? Do they offer the rest of the goat on the menu? Seems ashame to just cook the feet. I’m sure they would make good use of the rest of the animal DON’TCHATHINK???

there’s no meat on the goat’s foot, you’re basically eating the feet muscle and the thick fat layer covering it, it’s like pork knuckles with less meat.

Oh, and FYI, that ‘H’ in front means “Haji” or “Hajj”, the title you get after you completed the Muslim pilgrimage to Mecca.

THANKS OGAM for clearing that up for me. Sounds like a lot of work. One of those foods where you burn more calories eating it than consuming it.
