   Baring the fact what they actually are, I would say they where not all that bad of mask.

   Panty hose - obstructs your eyes (technically underwear also i guess)
   handkerchief - they fall down from your face, exposing you.
   ski mask - gets pretty warm, same could be said for Halloween masks
   thongs - cover a good part of your face, leave yours eyes out for good visibility, wont fall down because of the strap on top, and by not covering everything your head stays cool.

   *shrug*
