In today’s lunchtime quiz from mental_floss, you are to decide which website of a pair is more popular, according to Alexa rankings. I scored 80%, only missing the subjects that are outside my areas of interest, but it’s supposed to be my business to know such things. No, Neatorama is not in any of the questions. Link

Why is Vanilla Ice's page more popular than MC Hammer's? That's so wrong.

Viola, I agree. I think it might be because Hammer's URL http://mchammer.blogspot.com/ is not as easy to assume as Ice's. They both rank high in Google search, but Hammer's is below Wikipedia, and Ice's is above Wikipedia. Hammer's is a personal blog that he updates, and I think it's fascinating!

I got better than half, which is better than I usually do on the Mental Floss quizzes. I can understand Yahoo and Google being at the top, but Wikipedia all the way down at #7? It's the greatest site in the universe. It should be #1 for sure.

    55%?!?! I'm ashamed of myself

and seriously, Vanilla Ice? No way - MC Hammer is too legit to quit!

Glad to see Tupac is still the better performer.
