That’s the "Neverending" bookshelf, made out of Corian by Italian designers Luca Nichetto and Andreoli. Link

It’s just one of the many bookshelves featured on this very specialized "Bookshelf Blog" – via Metafilter | If you like this, you’ll love Freshome’s feature "30 Most Creative Bookshelves Designs"

Why is 'ghost woman' haunting the bookshelf?

This post could double as a ghost shot, does the ghost come with the shelf, maybe she organizes?

It's beautiful and all, but doesn't seem functional.

It's pretty! It's an artistic way to display a few odds and ends if you can find anything that will fit stay balanced on the shelves. I'm afraid it would take up valuable space in my apartment, though.

I like it, it's unique and would be fun to decorate with stuff.

I'm disappointed that they don't have any pictures with BOOKS in them!

I like my books to stay not bent, and upright. This looks like they would get all bent out of shape. I would rather keep it like that or put other useful nicknacks on, but not for a bookshelf.

    Kinda spooky!

Speaking to it's unpracticalness...perhaps it is never ending because no one would start putting their books on it...:P

the only issue i could see is how would you keep the books all upright o.o
