Etch-A-Sketch Clock

Alex

Angela Yuan built this awesome Etch-A-Sketch clock that draws out the time and then erases itself every minute. It was built on the Arduino platform. Hit play or go to http://www.revver.com/video/719432/etch-a-sketch-clock/ [Revver] | Angela's website - Thanks Sean and SenorMysterioso!

Love pool---billiards. Played a pretty good stick back in the day, a lot in college. I see the photo above is straight rail billiards. Nice game. I've seen guys play 3 cushion and even 5 cushion games, very hard. Easiest game is on those short bar tables playing 8 ball. 9 ball is THE money game.

Let us not forget too the very popular and classic episode of The Twilight Zone with Jack Klugman & Jonathan Winters (his character based on Minnesota Fats). One of my favorite episodes. ESPN used to show professionals having trick shot tournaments. Alwas fun to watch.

Great article, Eddie.

FYI - A serviceable billiards table, balls, and cue sticks can be made using materials you might find on a desert island - the hardest part was getting the colors right for the coconut balls - especially the 4, 8 and 12.
