Crouching Chinese Man, Hidden Toilet

Genius: a "hidden toilet" in China that remains out of sight until you plunk in a coin. Then it’ll rise up to the surface so you can use the bathroom.

Evil Genius: 1 yuan to enter …. 1,000 yuan to exit before the toilet goes down with *you* in it. Bwahahahahaha!

I have seen one of these in Istanbul. Although they were much more esthetic.

Oh man, just imagine if we had those things here in the US - the writer's strike never would have even mattered, the wealth of wacky comedy gold such as those things offer just about writes itself ...

You may have added the last bit, but we were all thinking it.

Wow, what a pile of added expense, and for what?

Too bad the Chicoms can't make Christians, Fulan Gong, and dissidents disappear as easily.

Imagine using one of these when it malfunctions and goes under ground. Ever been stuck in an elevator? Now imagine a stinky one.
