Giant Peach Sculpture is Just Peachy!

Posted by Alex in Arts & Crafts, Food & Drinks, Pictures on February 4, 2008 at 4:57 pm

"Ella" is a giant sculpture made from about 24,000 peaches! It was created by BMF Sydney to advertise Ella Baché’s (slogan: "Skin good enough to eat") skin care products. LinkThanks Adam Fuhrer!

Wonder what they did with the peaches afterwards. I'd hope they were put to good use instead of tossed.

First thought: This can't be in the USA, where public sculptural nudity is bad, mmmkay?

I saw one made of apples too. Seems like a big waste to me. I guess that some art is just wasteful.~~~~~
