Aaaawkwaaarrd: Man Met Wife in Brothel

Posted by Alex in Crime & Law, Everything Else on February 3, 2008 at 4:07 am

Ummmm … if you look up "awkward" in a dictionary, this should be listed:

A Polish man got the shock of his life when he visited a brothel and spotted his wife among the establishment’s employees. Polish tabloid Super Express said the woman had been making some extra money on the side while telling her husband she worked at a store in a nearby town.

"I was dumfounded. I thought I was dreaming," the husband told the newspaper Wednesday.

Needless to say, the couple, married for 14 years, are now divorcing.

yunno, i always wonder why married couples who find each other cheating in the same fashion divorce, when they could join forces and combat their own sex life rather than sneak around. there was a similar story a while ago where this married couple started having issues and began seeking further companionship on the internet. they both ended up meeting someone new. the woman wanted to meet her new man at the mall and told him to wear a red rose. she was unpleasantly surprised to go to the mall and see her husband wearing a red rose. the husband accused his wife of cheating, and divorced her! wtf?! i just don't understand. oh well.. i guess i can learn from these peoples' mistakes!

I think that tale you relate is an urban myth. Before the Internet, it was a want ad.

Somehow, collusion with your spouse with your extramarital sex plans kinda takes the fun out of it. An affair is like going on separate vacations. What's the point of doing it, if you're staying in the same hotel?

It's sorta like the story in The Pina Colada Song, only with hookers! And an unhappy ending! And no pina coladas!

Okay, maybe they're not that similar after all ...

Why divorce? Sounds like they had more in common than they cared to admit.

Why should he be so surprised? He uses hookers. He was obviously married to someone interested in the same business.

    Hahahaha! Good one. :)

Well, if you guys think of it this way they have more in common than previously thought. Hell, they should have stayed together...might be awkward during the divorce case to explain their reasons.

Thanks for reminding me of the Pina Colada song! I've forgotten how much I liked it :)

Hee, I'm glad to hear I'm not the only one who likes that song (or at least will own up to liking it, I'm rather convinced that everyone who knows it secretly loves it - I mean, come on! It's The Pina Colada Song!) And Ali S., that's a good point about them having to explain their reasons for the divorce, I'd love to see those court proceedings (OR the bemused looks on the face of the judge or their friends) ...

Well they both seem to tolerate sex, for whatever reason.

Beats more`n most marriages I seem to hear bout.
