Lakai is basically part of Girl Skateboards. Both videos were directed by Ty Evans and Spike Jonze (and on 'Fully Flared' Cory Weincheque).

@Edward, I was at about 30 seconds. I thought to myself as it started "are they trying to make skateboarding look poetic and epic?" then "yup... *sigh*".

NOT mesmerizing, and only 'artful' in the most pedestrian way.

Lets do the same thing with football (slow-mo + music); that would be unique and fun to watch and convince me that Footbal is epic and nobel too. Oh WAIT they arely did that many times and it didn't!
