In fact, a kangaroo rat never has to drink water. Instead, its body can manufacture water by metabolizing foodstuff.

    i find that impossible to believe. synthesized, or metabolic water, is such a minuscule amount compared to the amount required to digest the food itself…i’d like to hear more about its physiological adaptations…kidney functions?
