Space Invader Scarf

By Alex in Fashion, Toys on Jan 2, 2008 at 4:20 am

Lendorff Kaywa, a collaboration between London’s knitware designer Office Lendorff and a mobile phone service company Kaywa, is offering a Space Invader QR-code scarf.

The scarf has a secret message encoded in a 2 dimensional barcode that can be decoded with a cell phone with a QR-code scanner.

I actually ordered one of these before christmas, got it a couple days ago and it’s construction is of great quality, just wish I had a QRcode reader. Doesn’t seem to be one for my cell phone.

Took it about 9 days to get to Seattle from Austria after they shipped it.

I’ve heard that each scarf has a different message but my Nokia N95 read the sample code on the website as “Hi Boss!”

No, I have no idea what that has to do with Space Invaders either!
