Web 2.0 Logos

What of someone redesigned old and familiar corporate logos in Web 2.0 style? Someone did, and the results range from meh to unsettling to downright funny. Link -via the Presurfer

i love the AC/DC!
although i’m sure burger king hasn’t been changed at all,
am i wrong?
I don’t get it… is it that the logos are reflected on the bottom?
@Carbon Based:
Yup, you cracked the vast cipher of Web 2.0 – add a reflection (and maybe use tacky colors) and bingo, you’ve joined the Web 2.0 revolution. And of course if you can use crappy AJAX code anywhere in your site you get bonus points. Isn’t progress wonderful!
The chev.ro.let one made me laugh. At least these are better than the endless “swoosh” logos of the 1.0 era.
I don’t get it. I guess I’m the odd man out and out of the loop. (See? I used the phrase “out of the loop”).
i agree with amy…
also: all that reflecting and glossy/aqua effect so popular nowadays makes my eyes hurt. its a shame how unoriginal logo designs are nowadays. same goes for interface designs.
oh, and i heard somewhere long ago:
good logo is the one you could draw on a wall with a marker.
I’m out of the loop, as usual.
I suppose this made sense to somebody, but it looked like an excuse to throw logos at us.
Hooray for image theft. These are all hijacked from Flickr.

Link! Don’t steal!
@Sidereal
Um no, they didn’t steal them, they pre-packaged them into a user-friendly format for easy consumption.
//hates flickr’s lame interface.
