Aganetha Dyck's Beehive Artwork

Posted by Alex in Animal, Arts & Crafts, Pictures on December 13, 2007 at 12:52 am

Artist Aganetha Dyck "collaborated" with bees to create her artwork: she installed found objects and figurines into living beehives where they were incorporated into the hive by the bees and later retrieved as honeycombed artwork!

This is really neat. I think it is an unusual way of creating art. Very nice!

    _HER_ art?

Shes not doing any work at all. whatsoever. She takes pre-existing figurines, barbiedolls, coathangers etc...Something that OTHER people made, and lets BEE's do the rest of the work.

Ugh... watch someone pay thousands for it though.
