Jonathan McCabe

Jonathan McCabe makes computer video art based on biological pattern formation and evolution. He calls the technique “Origami-Butterfly”.

BrightCove.tv has a selection of his work, most of which is almost imperceptibly slow-moving, but the first few videos are quite fast. (You need to click on “See All” for a larger selection than just the first four.)

If you go to his site you won’t see any previews at all, just links to the large QuickTime movies. I think he should make ambient dvd’s out of these. Nice for big screen tv’s!
