Caption Monkey 10: Giant Fish

This week’s Caption Monkey game at Neatorama comes by way of Thailand: the largest predator fish ever caught on rod and line, a 407 lb (185 kg) Arapaima.

Funniest caption wins a Free Monkey (or any other animal) Drawing by Ape Lad of Hobotopia. Contest rules are simple: place your caption in the comment, one caption per comment but you can submit as many as you’d like. You can also vote for your favorite comment, but not your own. And lastly, please keep it civil.

The funniest caption will win a free drawing - if you don’t win, but still want one (it’s very cool), you can get it directly from Ape Lad for a nominal fee here.

Tuna, sturgeon, swordfish, sailfish, and who knows what else have been caught with rod and line that weigh more than this. If you throw in sharks (not technically “fish”), the weight moves up to over 1,500 pounds.

Just saying. Cool looking fish there.
