    There are a couple of LOL festivals here in Canada. Right in my hometown there has been a sign up for over a year advertising LOL Sudbury.

    I think LOL has entered the lexicon at this point.

    Here in Chicago local radio stations use LOL all the time on their billboards.
    Also, a local college has an ad running right now that says "Brings a whole new meaning to OMG"

    ah, in england there are buses with 'lol' written on the side of them

    it's a cell phone advert i think...
