Frog Can Fly

Posted by onelargeprawn in Animal on August 28, 2007 at 2:01 am

Two crazy Russian artists think that frogs should be able to fly, so they’ve made different photos of the frog in “flight”. The one above is called “Eddy Chlorophyll”.

The jump of frog symbolizes thirst of flying. As genetic magic dream, about that far time, when frogs were the ANGELS.

    If attaching frogs to magic helicopters and sending them back in time to the period when they were angels is wrong, then I don’t want to be right.

    It’s not like the animals are actually being abused as you watch - the action (whether you consider it abuse or not has already happened), and the poster is merely bring our attention to what happens out there in this weird world of ours. Avoiding something doesn’t mean it will just go away. Avital do you also not read newspapers, or news websites when there is news of horrible wars, acts of terror, child absue, animal abuse etc. If you are that concerned, why not act and not just maon.

    I don’t think “art” means what you think it means.

    Those russian artists should watch out on their intake of prohibites substances.

    Wow, that’s rather stupid. It’s amazing how far the bounds of people’s foolishness can be stretched and have them still explain it away as “art”. Oh well, I guess that explains the phrase “starving artist”. If they were any good, they wouldn’t be starving.

    @emily..

    i actually dont find this cruel.. just down to stupidity!

    But your reasoning is so flawed! Avital didn’t ignore it.. just said he didn’t want to see it, i’m sure he knows cruelty exists, and by not giving cruel things the attention they seek.. they’ll stop.
    On the other hand if u advertise it like art.. maybe they dont.

    And i repeat.. i dont think this is cruel, but Avital can choose if he comes back or not, based on whatever he likes.
    Do you watch every program on tv? or visit child pornography sites? why not? are you ignoring it so it can go away?
    Sometimes not giving attention to things is in fact acting, like ignoring (not buying them) fur cloths is acting. Or or stupid theory of what “already happened” falls apart, cause everyone knows for instance, if everyone were to ignore fur clothes, what already happened would not happen again.

    Simon : you just have to lick the frog.

    Anyway, a good frog is a frog cooked with butter and parsley. Wait, no. That’s snails.

    Well, like my old granddad used to say, “If a frog was rigged up to some kind of helicopter contraption, he wouldn’t bump his ass a hoppin’”

    Granddad was a man ahead of his time.
