Dalek Invasion!

By Alex in Film, Pictures, Travel on Aug 27, 2007 at 12:23 pm

Neatorama reader Tony Heugh sent this one in:

I work a MoSI, the Museum of Science and Industry in Manchester and earlier today we had a Dalek invasion!

The aim was to set the record for the most Daleks in one place and it was even attended by Raymond Cusick.

The rule was that a person had to be inside each Dalek, hit the link for replicas, one from an old episode and many awesome costumes – including a one year old Dalek.

BTW, 67 home-made Daleks made it to the Museum, and Raymond Cusick is the original creator of the creatures for the sci-fi TV series Doctor Who.

I hope they don’t try to remove the Earth’s core and replace it with a star drive. Because that would suck.

For some reason I’m now thinking of Frankie Boyle’s Dalek joke on Mock the Week: http://youtube.com/watch?v=K74sKzgvF8s
