Diving From 35 Feet Into 12 Inches of Water

Posted by Alex in Video Clips, World Records on August 22, 2007 at 3:27 am

Here’s the holy trinity of Internet awesomeness: crazy Japanese TV show, a crazy American who specializes in belly flopping into a shallow pool of water, and YouTube.

See Professor Splash jump from a height of 35 feet (10.7 m) into 12" (30 cm) of water: hit play or go to Link [YouTube] – via A Welsh View and Gorilla Mask

There's a mat underneath the pool.

Which doesn't mean you still don't need nerves of steel to attempt such a feat.

I don't know, Sparge: I've watched that video a couple of times, and I don't see the platform under the pool deflecting at all. I think he actually does it.
