Family Tipped Waitress $10,000

Wow – here’s a tip for ya: Jessica Osborne, 20, a waitress at Pizza Hut had to drop out of college twice because of the cost. So, when a family of regulars decided to move away, they gave her tip: $10,000 for college!

    wow. things like that just make me feel happy. as someone still paying for college, I know how hard it can be...if she uses that money well it will go far (though she'll still have to work with today's tuitions, obviously).

    Count on seeing this kind of story for overtipped waitresses 100 times for every time you see such a story about an overtipped waiter.

    ... and you probably don't hear the story of the undertipped waiters and waitresses. Probably outnumber both stories 1,000,000 to 1.
