Fogonazos has a neat article about The Sphinx Observatory on Jungfraujoch, Switzerland, which is the "Top of Europe" (literally!)

Slight correction here: as per wikipedia, the top of Europe is Mont Blanc (4,808 m, 15,775 feet) in the French Alps, while the Jungfraujoch tops at 3471 m (11,388 feet).

Thanks flyermoney - I think the reference is to the fact that the observatory is the building with the highest-altitude in Europe.
